President Akufo-Addo has handed over an agriculture machinery to the Wulensi District.

The machinery is under the Agric Mechanization Program.

Mr. Akufo-Addo said agriculture machinery under the Agric Mechanization Program was an important pillar for the Planting for Food and Jobs program.

“We are going to increase the mechanization centers so that farmers will have the equipments to be able to modernize their methods and practices to grow Ghanaian agriculture into the twenty seventh century,” he said.

According to the President , agriculture was on the decline when he came into office but within two and half years, his administration has been able to boost agriculture not only with bumper harvest but Ghana exporting food to neighboring countries.
