NDC Parliamentary Primaries: Ayawaso West Wuogon Delegates Root For Afua Adoboe

The NDC parliamentary primaries of the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency seem to be a ‘cool chop’ for Suzzy Afua Adoboe who has been tipped to win over her main contender, actor John Dumelo.

According to the delegates in the constituency, they need a “veteran” politician - not a “fine movie star” who can win the seat for them in the 2020 election.

“Winning elections mean getting someone who have the technical know-how of what goes on down from the polling station till the electoral commission's final declaration of results,” some delegates told Peacefmonline.com.

Afua Adoboe according to the delegates has been an active member in the constituency for years and deserves to represent them in parliament.

“By the grace of God and thanks to the party, she had the opportunity to start serving our party as branch executive, polling station agent, constituency executive, national representative- elections supervisor, training of polling agents etc.”

“We know majority of our fellow comrades are discerning delegates who have this knowledge and will do the right thing by voting for someone who can tell the reality on the ground of branch executive, polling agent, ward executive, constituency executive,” he said.
