NABCO Coordinator’s Stolen Pickup Abandoned In Bolga

A pickup belonging to the Northern Regional Coordinator of the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO), Yahaya Abdul Rahman, which was robbed at gunpoint has been intercepted by police in the Upper East region.

Police Intelligence in the Upper East region led to the interception of the stolen Toyota Hilux with registration number NR 9902-19.

The Northern Regional Police Crime Officer, Supt. Kwabena Acheampong Otuo, who confirmed the incident to DGN Online, said the robbers abandoned the stolen vehicle and escaped through a nearby bush in the Upper East region.

According to him, the robbers made away with the keys of the vehicle.

Supt. Otuo indicated that the vehicle was in the possession of the Upper East police and will be brought back to Tamale today.

Information gathered by DGN Online indicates that three armed robbers wielding AK47 riffles attacked the Northern Regional Coordinator of NABCO at his residence at Kanvili Tuunayili a suburb of Tamale around 9:30 pm recently.
