Beneficiaries Of Free SHS Won't Accept Any Campaign Against The Policy: Techiman Shs Student Declares

A beneficiary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagship Free SHS Policy in Techiman SHS, has categorically stated that she and her colleague beneficiaries are grateful to President Akufo-Addo for implementation of the policy and will not countenance any messages or campaign against it.

This came to light in an interaction with students during a routine and random visit to the school by Chief Executive Officer of the National Food Buffer Stock Company Hon. Alhaji Hanan Abdul-Wahab Aludiba on Monday.

According to the students, the Free SHS Policy has lessened the financial burden of parents, which has allowed them to invest in other areas of life and also enabled several children who otherwise would have been on the streets for lack of money to support their education to access secondary education at no cost.

In that regard, the students sent their appreciation to the President of the Republic through the CEO for giving them life-changing opportunities with FSHS.

The students spoke at a time that the main opposition party, the NDC and its flag bearer Mr. John Dramani Mahama have openly kicked against the implementation of the Policy amid fears that they could scrap the Policy in the unlikely event of a change in government in the 2020 polls.
