'Corrupt' Asiedu Nketia Cannot Escape Corruption Tag – John Boadu

General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu says the Chief Scribe of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia cannot escape the corruption tag.

He emphasized that the NDC and its General Secretary are all very corrupt.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' program, he explained Mr. Asiedu Nketia during his tenure as board Chairman of the Bui Power Authority, sold his most expensive blocks to the Authority for the construction of the Bui dam.

"So why will he want to talk about corruption when he himself is very corrupt," he asked.

According to John Boadu, he is very much surprised to hear the NDC claim that the NPP government has failed to fight corruption.

General Secretary of the NDC, Mr. Asiedu Nketia has described President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the "most corrupt" and "nepotistic" President Ghana has ever produced in the Fourth Republic.

According to Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Nana Addo "must accept full responsibility for the unenviable accolade as the most corrupt President in Ghana’s history, which hangs around his neck and find out why it is so.

"It has been established beyond all reasonable doubt that corruption is a way of life for the President and his government," he said.

The party's reactions come at the back of Nana Addo who denied the claims that he has been shielding corrupt officials in his administration.
