New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Organiser, Sammy Awuku says President Akufo-Addo deserves a big applause for introducing transformative policies that have helped to improve the economy.

Listing some social intervention programmes by the President and his government, Sammy Awuku was of a strong view that President Akufo-Addo has in 3 years of his administration performed better. 

"In the issue of industries, our ambitious 1D1F policy is on course and as we speak, about 70 factories have either been commissioned or in partnership with government to be fully established or expanded to employ many people.

"The government is determined to honour 1D1F manifesto promise and believe that with encouragement and support from Ghanaians and the media with constructive criticism...they will be able to get to their final destination" he told Joy News.

Sammy Awuku was optimstic the government will fulfill its mandate to the Ghanaian citizenry and called on them to continue to repose their confidence and trust in the Akufo-Addo-led government.
