U.S. Embassy in Accra Supports Nkwatia Senior High School With $10,000
The U.S. Embassy in Accra, through the Ambassadors Special Self-Help Program, supported the Nkwatia Senior High School with $10,000 to construct a toilet facility to meet the sanitation needs of a growing number of students. On September 4, our Management Counselor Greg Morrison commissioned the opening of the facility in the Eastern Region, joined by a number of local dignitaries.
The Ambassador’s Special Self-Help Program provides assistance to small, community-led projects that promise to have an immediate impact. The project must be initiated by the community and should benefit the community by increasing income or improving living conditions.https://bit.ly/2kDVxYd
