Protectors Of Traditions And Asanteman Gives Opemsour A Hero's Welcome
The Asante Monarch, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, is undoubtedly an embodiment of peace. He always exudes the inner peace which seems to flow like an imaginary halo whenever and in whatever situation he appears to operate – calm, firm, courteous, and effective. It is therefore not surprising that he was invited to address the United Nations General Assembly.
Indeed, no African King, Monarch or Traditional Leader has ever been honoured with such a high platform to address the United Nations General Assembly. It is for this reason, and of course his stellar delivery on the occasion that we are embarking on this historic million march to give him that befitting hero's welcome.
By that excellent delivery at the United Nations, he has affirmed the fact that he is a great source of pride to Ghana, Ghanaians, Asanteman and people of African descent everywhere, especially in a world where our chieftaincy institution is often begrudged of its due respect, recognition and reverence.
We call on all stakeholders, groups, associations, traditional institutions and everyone living everywhere under the Ashanti traditional areas to mobilize in their numbers as we welcome Our Hero on Tuesday, 24th September, 2019 at 3pm at the Kumasi Airport.
