NPP Is Not Ready To Win Power In 2012 - Asiedu Nketiah

The General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah says the quality of leaders chosen by the NPP at their National conference in kumasi over the weekend shows that they are not prepared to win back power from the NDC. According him, the NDC was pleasantly surprised when they realized that the largest opposition party had decided to make the work of the NDC easier by electing a leadership which lacked the necessary experience in elective politics. I am pleasantry surprised that they elected the kind of leadership that they have elected. It will make our work easier because I am not sure that they want to win the next election otherwise they would have been more serious in selecting the kind of political leadership to steer their affairs to victory. He added that the NDC managed to win the 2008 elections due to the accumulated experience of their officials. In the run up to the 2008 elections I indicated to them that they had more money, they had incumbency, they had everything but what we were going to beat them with is our experience and it came to pass. When you look at the array of leadership you realize that none of them has been elected to a district assembly beforewhen you compare the likes of Jake to Kwabena Adjei, compare Sir John who has no electoral experience and you compare the women organizer and all that there is no experience but that doesnt mean that we would rest because it not over until it is over. He said.
