Marcello Lippi Blasts Inter : They Are Not Italian!

Italy coach Marcello Lippi is not impressed with Inter because there is not much Italian about them. Jose Mourinho's starting XI against Chelsea had no player from Italy. Marco Materazzi, who came after 92 minutes, was the only Italian who took part, albeit briefly. According to Goal.com Italia, Lippi said: "Italian football in crisis? You could think that looking at the Champions League, but it's not like that. "What is there Italian about Inter for example? They are all foreigners, including the coach. "The expression of Italian football, apart from the Nazionale, are Palermo, Genoa and Chievo. They all play well, and have excellent coaches." For the record, Lippi spoke on Tuesday morning, before Inter's win over Chelsea in the Champions League.
