Abronye DC Courts Support Of Zongo Communities Ahead Of Elections 2020

President Akufo-Addo's government has done a lot for Zongo communities in the country and will continue to do more should the Zongo communities support his second term bid according to the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party Kwame Baffoe Abronye.

Abronye made the remarks while addressing chiefs, Imams, various ethnic groups, Zongo Communities as well as party sympathisers at Nkrankwanta in the Dormaa West Constituency when the Second Lady Samira Bawumia visited the region ahead of the impending general elections.

The Second Lady Samira Bawumia is on two days tour to the Bono region to solicit for more votes for President Akufo-Addo in the crucial December polls.

She visited Nkrankwanta, Dormaa Central and she is expected to meet Chiefs, Imams, Zongo youth and the rest of the residents at Jaman North, Banda, Tain, Sunyani East and Sunyani West.

Chairman Abronye in his remarks cited the Zongo Development Fund and the Inner-City and Zongo Development Ministry as already ensuring human and infrastructural development in Zongo communities.

He further outlined the many interventions Nana Akufo-Addo’s administration has implemented in the inner cities including scholarships for brilliant but needy students from deprived communities, as some life-changing policies that are having a real impact on lives that would otherwise be neglected.

Abronye urged the Zongo and other Communities to have confidence in the ability of Nana-Bawumia to turn the fortunes of the nation around and vote massively for them come December 7, assuring them that Nana is not a thief, and unlike Mahama, would be a government for all, without any form of discrimination.
