DPG Joins The NPP’s Sammi Awuku To Campaign In Amasaman

The Diaspora Patriots in Ghana Foundation (DPG) under the able leadership of Chairman Prince Sefah, on Thursday, 12th November, joined the National Organizer of the NPP - Mr. Sammi Awuku for several mini rallies within the Amasaman Constituency.

The Greater Accra Regional Organizer - Mr. Prince Obeng led proceedings for the Day.

In the Campaign Team also was the NPP Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Amasaman - Akwasi Afrifa-Mensah, the MCE - Hon. Clement Wilkinson and several Constituency Executives and Campaign Team Members.

Also present for DPG was Secretary - Ernest Justice Ampong, Women's Organiser - Madam Bernice Adjei, Communications Director - Hajia Nana Fatima High, Youth Organizer - Nana Kyei Baffour, and Deputy Organizer - Paul Agyekum.

The MD of National Investment Bank - Mr. Sam Sarpong along with many other Members of DPG were also in attendance.

At Medie, the team met with various groups of Ghetto Youth who have thrown their support behind the NPP.

Some of these groups include; Nsamanpom Ghetto Youth, Solo Ghetto Youth, Atayah Base Youth, and Vigas Ghetto Youth.

From Medie, the team moved to Sarpeiman to touch base with another group.

The team then moved to Amasaman Taxi Rank to engage the drivers and traders and implore them to vote for the NPP.

The team finally wrapped up at the Amasaman Municipal Assembly, where it met with an active group of People with Disability.

After a day's worth of exciting campaigning, the PC and incoming MP of Amasaman - Akwasi Afrifa-Mensah was full of thanks to DPG for its relentless support of the NPP's campaign in Amasaman.

The NPP National Organizer then took time in an address, to praise the hardworking nature of DPG members and encouraged them to continue their campain in the Amasaman and Domeabra-Obom Constituencies.

Chairman Sefah, in response to the PC and National Organizer, said DPG has adopted the two constituencies and is committed to working tirelessly to ensure the two seats are won by the NPP, from the Minority Party.

He also mentioned that the Foundation has identified 18 other Constituencies that it intends to support with at least some logistics, towards a resounding victory for the NPP on December 7th.

He mentioned that DPG is also honoured and motivated by the words and presence of the National Organizer.
