Prince Williams & Wife To Move Into Princess Diana's Flat

THE Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are moving into the home Wills and Harry shared with Princess Diana as children. The newlywed royals will take a 'starter home' in Kensington Palace, where their mother lived after her divorce from Prince Charles, as their official London residence. The couple's main home will continue to be in Anglesey, north Wales, where Wills, 28, works as an RAF search and rescue helicopter pilot. Currently when they are in the capital William and Kate, 29, share an apartment at Clarence House with Prince Harry. But just weeks after tying the knot the newlyweds are moving out. A spokesman from St James's Palace said: "We can confirm that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's official London residence will temporarily become a property at Kensington Palace. "A number of options for longer term solutions are still being considered. "The couple's main home will continue to be their house on Anglesey, and their Household Office will continue to be based at St James's Palace." The spokesman said they will move in at some point in June or July. Meanwhile it was revealed today that Kate's wedding dress is to go on public display at Buckingham Palace. The creation by dress designer Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen will be on show this summer. The Duchess's veil, tiara, wedding shoes and the diamond earrings she wore on her big day will also form part of the display.
