Qatar 2022: The ‘Iconic’ Venue To Host Argentina And Saudi Arabia

Tuesday's match will be played at the Lusail Iconic Stadium, which has a capacity of 80,000 and is therefore the largest being used at the tournament.

It is situated in Lusail, some 23km north of the capital city of Doha, where the majority of the games will be played.

Construction on the Lusail Iconic Stadium began in 2017 and was completed in November 2021, with the official inauguration coming on September 9 this year when it hosted the Lusail Super Cup.

It will host 10 matches during the World Cup, including the final on December 18.
