Big Brother Amplified: Alex Sets Record As First Ghanaian To Win Head of House

Big Brother Amplified Reality show is still ongoing and Ghana is still in the running for the ultimate cash prize of $200,000 as the Ghanaian housemates Confidence and Alex still remain intact in the game. Peacefmonline.com Entertainment monitoring on DSTV Channel 198 revealed that, the Ladies man Alex Biney representing Ghana in the Tails house made history yesterday morning Friday June 10, 2011, as the first ever Ghanaian housemate to become Head of House (HoH) since the inception of the reality show. None of Ghana's representatives since the beginning of the Big Brother, including Sammy B, Kwaku T, Mimi, Ras Wayo and Sammy B in Big Brother All Stars did get even gone close to winning the Head of House task, but Alex has broken the jinx and proved anybody who thought a Ghanaian can never be HoH in Big Brother, wrong. As a usual Friday ritual, the housemates underwent a task to determine who the Head of house will be for the following week. Fridays task was a bit physical and was meant to test the housemates stamina. It required the housemates to maintain their balance on a wobble board while moving around without falling off. If any of the housemates is seen being static, for a long period of time, he/she is then eliminated from the task by Biggie. Luclay was first to be eliminated from the task, followed by his partner in crime, Danny. Karen followed next and soon after her was Miss P. Nic finally froze leaving Mumba, Kim, Alex and Bernadina on the board. Kim eventually gave up and stepped off her wobble board. Bernadina finally froze and so did Mumba leaving Alex to win he task and become the new head of house for next week. There were chants of "bumaye" as Alex out-balanced Mumba to be crowned "Tails" HoH. Amongst other duties, he wins the right to save and replace during next Monday night Nominations show which implies that Alex is totally free from eviction next week. In the Heads house, Felicia was crowned the new Head of House (HoH). After much distraction from the other girls, Lomwe lost balance and Felicia was announced as the fifth "Heads" HoH. Seven housemates have been put up for possibly eviction this week. They are Zeus (Botswana), Millicent (Kenya), Weza (Angola), Confidence (Ghana), Hanni (Ethiopia), Vina (Nigeria), and Vimbai (Zimbabwe). Note that two housemates will definitely go home this week, according to BIG BROTHER. As usual, peacefmonline.com is appealing to all Ghanaians and fans of Confidence to vote to save her from eviction.
