West Africa’s largest steel manufacturing company in Ghana, B5 Plus Limited, has swept over dozen top awards as recognition for its outstanding role in the manufacturing activities of Ghana.

Latest of the awards is when the company was adjudged as a Premium Quality Iron & Steel Brand Award 2022 at the seventh edition of Ghana Business Quality Brands Award 2023 held in Accra recently.

Some of the awards that were conferred upon B5 and its CEO includes:

– Best Company in supporting local Content at the Sustainability and Social Investment Awards 2022

– GH TITANS – Mr. Mukesh Thakwani- CEO at the 5th Ghana Industry CEO
Award 2022

– Presidents National Awards for export achievement- Gold Category – GEPA.

– Iconic Iron & Steel Brand Awards at the ninth Made – in – Ghana Awards.

– Best in support of Public Sector in steel manufacturing in Africa at the African Public Service Optimum Awards 2022.

– Building Materials Brand of the Year-(Steel) at National Customer choice awards Ghana 2022.

– Ghana Most Respected CEO in the Manufacturing (Metal) category at Ghana
Industry CEO Awards.

– Ghana Corporate Brand Awards 2022 – Manufacturing Company of the Year

– ARCE -2022 – Outstanding Business in Manufacturing & Fabrication.

In the area of health, B5 Plus Limited gave a huge relief to Ghana’s COVID-19 fight by saving many lives by making countless donations of free oxygen to all public and private hospitals in the Country.

‘B5 Plus care Foundation’

The Charity foundation takes care underprivileged children in Ghana by providing
them basic needs, including free education and basic medical care.

The Foundation organizes Blood Donation Camps and free Health checkup campaigns every year.

B5 Plus Limited is also the promoter of renowned DPS International School located at Community 25, giving education to locals and foreign nationals.

The company has constructed as one of the largest, strategic state of the art steel
manufacturing plant in Africa under the One District, One Factory (1D1F) programme
at Lakpleku, near Prampram.

The plant is in line with government’s vision and mission to promote made in Ghana products.
