The Bono East Regional Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prince Opoku Mensah alias Kofi Portuphy has launched a massive support for former President John Mahama dubbed "Operation 99.9%" in the Bono East Region.

This operation is to call for an outright endorsement of the candidature of Mr. Mahama as the party gears up to elect their Presidential candidate.

According to him, Ghanaians need a savior to save the nation from the mess created by governing New Patriotic Party and this savior is the former President, John Dramani Mahama.

He also noted that Mr. Mahama stands tall above all the candidates running for the NDC flagbearship, hence calling on the delegates to vote massively for him during the primaries.

He further admonished his executives to work harder to give the NDC a resounding victory in the 2024 elections.
