A.M.A Partners With Witties Ghana And TBC To Train Toilet Operators & Cleaners

Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has partnered With Witties Ghana and Toilet Board Coalition (TBC) to train public toilet operators and cleaners on sustainable measures to keep public toilet facilities clean and safe for public patronage.

According to them, this initiative is aimed at ensuring the safe use of toilet facilities at public places such as markets, stations, hospitals, churches etc.

The Managing Director for Witties Ghana, Madam Esther Dwamena in an interview with the media said "This training workshop for cleaners and operators of public toilet facilities was to equip them on sustainable ways of ensuring clean and safe toilet facilities for public patronage to prevent them from getting infections"

She made this known during the third edition of a two years program organized by Witties Ghana and the Accra Metropolitan Assembly with the aim of promoting cleaner and safer public toilet facilities to protect users from infections.

The Public Health Director for Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Madam Florence Kuukyi, also highlighted this program.

Again, some of the participants also expressed their joy and excitement to Witties Ghana, Accra Metropolitan Assembly and Toilet Board Coalition for putting up such measures.
