Chelsea First-team Coach Bruno Saltor 'Secretly Leaves the Club After Working with Pochettino for Just 4 Months'

Chelsea first-team coach Bruno Saltor has secretly left the club, according to reports.

Saltor arrived at Stamford Bridge alongside Graham Potter last September after working with the Englishman at Brighton.

He then took charge of the first-team for one match - a 0-0 draw against Liverpool - when Potter was sacked in April.

The 42-year-old was effectively placed on leave when Frank Lampard took over on an interim basis for the final weeks of last season, but the Blues opted to keep him at the club upon appointing Pochettino permanently in the summer.

However, he has now left the club after working alongside the Argentina manager for just four months, as reported by The Telegraph.

Chelsea have not released a statement confirming Saltor's departure, but it is understood that the remainder of his contract has been paid up.

Saltor leaving comes amid a disappointing start to the season for Chelsea, who have shown few signs of improvement after a dismal 2022-23 campaign.
