Lionel Messi has been named Time's Athlete of the Year for 2023 following his breathtaking start to life with Inter Miami.
Messi helped Miami secure its first ever piece of silverware after signing for the MLS team in July, while also helping them reach the Leagues Cup final.
And as a result, Time have announced that the Argentina captain is their 2023 athlete of the year.
