Charles Owusu has cautioned the delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to ensure an incident-free election tomorrow, January 27.

The New Patriotic Party will conduct their parliamentary election at constituencies with sitting Members of Parliament.

To some people, the primary will be tough as some notable names will be competing to retain their seats while other long-standing MPs of the party have also indicated they won't contest again, hence leaving their constituents to decide on new favorites.

Contributing to Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" programme, the former Head of Monitoring Unit at the Forestry Commission, Charles Owusu asked the delegates to go into the polls to execute the voting duty of electing their favorite persons to represent them but not to engage in violence.

"This is an exchange of ideas. You are not going to show muscles...In elections, there is no draw; no matter what, one will be victorious and the other will become a loser", he stated.

To the New Patriotic Party and the aspirants, he wished them good luck.

"I wish NPP and those contesting the election well."
