FONKAR Boys Are Filthy Rich Allotey Jacobs

Central Regional Communications Director of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs claims members of the group, Friends of Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings (FONKAR), are solidly behind and rooting for the former First Lady in the partys presidential primary chiefly for monetary gains. According to him, FONKAR is playing on the ego of the Rawlingses and are sucking them dry, saying they are all filthy rich now. He described FONKAR as a group of small boys who are leading the Rawlingses astray and enriching themselves in the process. Speaking on Peace FMs flagship programme, Kokrokoo, he disclosed that most of the members of FONKAR are his boys and therefore, he knows their stock in trade. It is pitiful that a group of small boys can mislead the Rawlingses and take advantage of themThey are milking Nana Konadu under the pretext of urging her to contest for the flagbearership of the NDCI know these boys very well because some of them were my boys and I know what they are doing. those FONKAR boys are now filthy rich and I can point out some of the properties they have acquired from this enterprise, he claimed. The former Central Regional NDC Propaganda Secretary accused FONKAR of indulging in a campaign of calumny by going around telling lies and vilifying members of GAME, whiles turning round to cry wolf. It hurts me that these young boys in FONKAR are going round deceiving people and telling lies. They are vilifying and destroying people in the campaign, who once in their political life were custodians of Rawlings government and supported himPeople are earning a living at the Rawlingses house, Kwami;you know campaign is the cocoa season for some people and these boys are milking the woman (Konadu) dry, he added. Mr Allotey Jacobs said he had expected Nana Konadu to have seen the light of day by now and bow humbly out of the flagbearership race, because no matter what she does, she will never win. He asserted that defeat will hit Nana Konadu like a tsunami, pointing out that the refusal to endorse her nomination forms in some constituencies is a clear indication of anger against her candidature.
