Hulk Hogan's Ex: I Was Afraid Hulk Would Kill Me

The troubles that came with her rocky divorce from Hulk Hogan were no secret, however, in Linda Hogan's new autobiography, she's revealing that it was actually the time during her marriage to the wrestling pro that proved to be the most turbulent. In her new memoir, "Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes,� Linda says she feared for her life many of times during her relationship to the wrestler, as she wrote, �He tore my shirt. He threw lamps. He held me down on the bed with his hands around my throat during arguments, slamming doors, pounding walls. I was always afraid he would kill me in one of his rages.�During a promotional stop on the "Today" show this morning (June 28), Hogan offered an explanation for Hulk's alleged outburst, telling, �Drugs were always around � prescribed. (Wrestlers have) always got injuries, you know. There was a constant flow of pain pills, anti-inflammatories, steroids � a lot of them did take steroids. Combined? It makes somebody� you don�t know what you�re dealing with.� As for why the "Hogan Knows Best" star kept quiet until know, she told, �I was afraid to say anything. Had I said something, the carpet would have been pulled up from underneath his career. I don�t know what my kids would have done. They were little at the time. It�s scary. It�s a very scary position."
