THE NUMBER of corporate bodies that are pumping cash into Kumasi Asante Kotoko keeps increasing by the day. The latest corporate body to sponsor the Porcupine Warriors is Fidelity Bank, Daily Guide Sports has gathered.
Fidelity Bank officials have agreed to sponsor Kotoko for three years, information emanating from the corridors of Kotoko indicates. Since Dr. K.K. Sarpong assumed the mantle of Executive Board Chairman, Kotoko has become a beehive of sponsorship deals.
Leading companies like telecommunication powerhouse MTN and other organizations are all sponsoring the Porcupine Warriors. Sources at the club hinted that very soon more companies would be announced as Kotoko�s sponsors.
Meanwhile Daily Guide Sports has gathered that after successfully constructing their own training fields at Adarkwa Jarchie in Kumasi, Kotoko want to go a step further in their quest to acquire up-to-standard infrastructure, by constructing dressing rooms at the training fields.
Nana Owusu, a member of the Kumasi Asante Kotoko Communications Team, disclosed this pleasant news in an exclusive interview with DAILY GUIDE SPORTS in Kumasi.
The construction of the dressing rooms, he said, forms part of
Kotoko management�s vision of making the Porcupine Warriors a professionally-run club which would boast of every training amenity of international standards.
