A member of the group, Friends of Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings (FONKAR) and a key campaign strategist, Mr. Paul Boateng believes certain unfavourable measures have been put in place ahead of the party�s congress, to favour Candidate Mills and is therefore urging all delegates of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), to be �bold� and �reject� him (Mills) at the Sunyani congress.
�For the sake of peace, unity and love for the party, we have swallowed our woes and remained mute�the regional voting will not come into force today or tomorrow!� he vowed.
He stated that as a party which has conducted several internal elections, it was wrong for the NDC to introduce the regional voting system in the elections of a flagbearer.
Mr. Paul Boateng added that they (Nana Konadu�s camp) were not ready to compromise with the president�s camp in order to introduce the regional voting to make it effective.
Speaking on Adom FM, Mr. Paul Boateng stated that for Nana Konadu to floor the president�s camp over the regional voting system, signifies victory for the �courageous� former First Lady.
