Kofi Adams Should Chicken Out Of The NDC - Sam Pee Yalley

A former Deputy Minister for Environment in the Rawlings led administration, Mr. Sam Pee Yalley, has asked Mr. Kofi Adams, spokesperson of the Rawlings and Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to usher himself out of the party if he cannot live up to the tenets of the NDCs constitution. According to him, he does not understand why Kofi Adams continues to proceed in the manner that he has done over the last couple of days by questioning the integrity of the delegates that also elected him and the decision of those delegates to elect President Mills at the just ended Sunyani Congress. The NDC organised its national congress in Sunyani which saw the President John Evans Atta Mills emerging as the winner and the flagbearer of the party. But Kofi Adams, who was part of the campaign team for the former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings believes the election was not free and fair. He feels that the delegates were intimidated to vote for a particular candidate. However, Mr. Sam Pee Yalley, who is a Public Interest Lawyer, sharply disagrees. Speaking to Shamima Muslim on Citi FM, Mr. Yalley said, Kofi Adams thinks that he knows more than everybody who was at Sunyani, at least for nothing at all there were television coverage to show what took place in Sunyani. Kofi Adams should stop insulting the intelligence of the delegates who were there. The fact that he saw Ministers talking to delegates means whatIf Kofi Adams thinks that he cannot work for President Mills who has been elected as the flagbearer of the NDC the most honorable thing for him is to chicken out rather than to waste everybodys time with Press conferences and raising issues that he cannot even proofif I were you Kofi Adams I would honorably resign as the Deputy General Secretary of the party, Sam Pee Yalley said. In a sharp rebuttal, the spokesperson for ex-president Rawlings said, I dont take lessons from people who left the NDC when the NDC was in oppositionI only saw Sam Pee Yalley when we came into power. I dont take lessons from people who will leave the party in times of difficulty and come when all is rosy. I dont take lessons from such people. He should keep his advice to himself, he stated.
