Cadres Appeals To All To Respect Outcome Of Congress

The Eastern Regional Branch of the United Cadres Front (UCF) has appealed to all members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to respect the outcome of the special congress of the party at Sunyani. The group said in a statement that since the delegates to the congress were representatives of the various branches and constituencies of the party, their decision represented the views of the party. It appealed to party faithful to use the laid down structures of the party to address their concerns and grievances. The Front urged the members of the Council of Elders of the party and all members of the NDC to pursue the goodwill demonstrated on the podium after the announcement of the results of the elections when former President Jerry John Rawlings raised the hand of President John Atta Mills and work towards peace and unity in the party. The Front congratulated the NDC fraternity for the peace and order at the congress.
