Ghanaians Urged To Vote For Akufo-Addo

The Member of Parliament for New Juaben South, Ms Beatrice Bernice Boateng, has called on Ghanaians to vote massively for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), because he has a vision that would change the fortunes of Ghana. She said Nana Akufo-Addo had a credible record that proved that when given the mandate he could improve the well-being of the people, especially in the education sector. She said Nana Akufo-Addos promise of free Senior High School education policy was possible and it was only the NPP government that could achieve that goal. Ms Boateng said this when she presented assorted items to schools in her constituency in Koforidua on Wednesday. She said the education sector needed more attention to ensure that every Ghanaian at least had secondary school education. She said the NPPs promise of better education policy that would enable every Ghanaian child to at least have a secondary education was real and not a political talk as had been interpreted in certain quarters. Ms Boateng said the track record of the NPPs eight years in government in the area of education saw the provision of many school infrastructure. She appealed to NPP supporters to close their ranks and rally behind Nana Akufo-Addo to ensure a resounding victory for the party in 2012.
