ALL is set for the much awaited auditions of the recently launched season three of the most prized educating and entertaining reality show on Ghanaian television, �The Challenge�.
Scheduled for Sunday, July 31, 2011, the premises of IPMC (Ring Road branch) will host the hundreds of applicants hoping to make it into the 13-week reality game show to run on GTV and GH One Entertainment Television.
The auditions will commence at 8am and will see applicants undergo a combination of aptitude and psychographic tests, demonstrations of academic excellence, leadership competencies, as well as character and creativity.
Twenty five (25) candidates will be selected as semi-finalists to undergo a series of interviews by a panel which includes representatives of the partner universities from the United Kingdom � Robert Gordon University and University of Westminster.
From there, 12 finalists will be shortlisted to participate in the 13-week reality TV show.
The 12 finalists will receive extensive personal and professional development training, then compete against each other in a series of weekly tests, debates, tasks and quizzes in management, leadership, creativity and UK-Ghana trivia.
Seven (7) out of the 12 contestants will be evicted over a 12-week period. The five (5) remaining contestants will go head-to-head in a final contest to determine the winner of the grand prize, who on completion of the post-graduate course will return to Ghana well prepared for the job market.
Season three of �The Challenge� has at stake full board postgraduate scholarships worth �70,000, with the top two candidates guaranteed a postgraduate admission at the Robert Gordon University and University of Westminster, accompanied by a fully paid accommodation in an international students� hostel and a monthly living allowance.
