Unwanted Prince Tagoe Continues To Impress With Hoffenheim

Prince Tagoe continued to impress with German side this weekend despite the Bundesliga sides quest to offload the Ghana striker. The attacker was a second half substitute in the TSG Hoffenheim set-up as they beat Germania 3-1 in the German Cup. Tagoe came on in the 69th minute and had a goal-bound shot cleared off the line just before the final whistle to send the match into extra time. The 24-year-old is set to leave the club following the signing of Zimbabwe striker Knowledge Musona. No concrete offers have been received yet by the Bundesliga club but Ghanas World Cup star has been putting in his best in pre-season games. Germania took the lead on their first shot on goal when Florian Buchholz headed the ball just inside the near post. Hoffenheim leveled the match just after halftime thanks to a penalty from Sejad Salihovic. Fabian Johnson scored a nice goal to put the Bundesliga club up 2-1, and Ryan Babel made it 3-1 curling in a free kick with six minutes left.
