Samue lInkoom Hunted By Fulham Manager Jol

Fulham manager Martin Jol is being linked with a swoop to take Ghana international defender Samuel Inkoom to Craven Cottage this summer. Jol was hoping to dispatch scouts to watch the 22-year-old stopper line up for the Black Stars in a friendly against the Nigeria at Watfords Vicarage Road on Tuesday. However, his plans were hit when Hertfordshire Police decided to get the encounter called off following the riots which have affected large parts of London and other UK cities. The Cottagers chief confirmed on Tuesday that he is still looking to bolster his ranks ahead of the new Premier League season kicking off this weekend against Aston Villa at Craven Cottage. Aston Villa and Arsenal have also been linked with a possible interest in Inkoom but Jol will get a first-hand look at the player as he is due to line up for Ukrainian club side Dnipro when they tackle Fulham in the Europa League play-offs late this month. It will be recalled that Ghana right-back John Pantsil was not handed a contract extension at Fulham this summer.
