Osahene Boakye Djan: Blessing Or Curse To Ndc For Election 2012? Part I

Oh politicians! When will you change from preaching virtue and practicing vice? Is it also true that the only thing a politician cannot do it to change a man into a woman and vice versa? Who would have ever thought that Major Kwadwo Boakye Djan (Rtd) aka Osahene, former second-in-command of AFRC, best man of Flt Lt J.J. Rawlings this is to let you in into how close they were then- , ardent and perfervid critic of J.J. Rawlings, after Boakye Djan, Kwak Baako Jnr., Capt. Baah Acheamfuor and others all accused him of allegedly betraying the core ideological direction of the AFRC and revolted against the Dr. Hilla Limann led PNP administration. Since 1981, Boakye Djan has been very critical of the Rawlings led PNDC/NDC administration ranging from newspaper articles, television and radio interviews among others, now has the nerve to aspire to contest as a parliamentary candidate on the ticket of NDC leaves much to be desired and the least said about it the better. Before I proceed, can someone tell me the difference between Boakye Djan now and what J.J. Rawlings did in 1981? Where is the ghost of Kyeremeh Djan? Is Kyeremeh Djan turning in his grave? I really need answers to all these questions. What is so palatable in the Rawlings NDC today that Boakye Djan feels so enticed to join hands with the DEVIL to dine together and even work very hard to retain NDC in power after tagging the same NDC as an illegality? Can someone truly trust an African politician all in all without any skepticism? Is Boakye Djan truly NDC or he simply has an agenda to execute? Wouldnt it have been more appropriate if Boakye had gone independent as he has done before so save himself a lot of embarrassment from discerning Ghanaians who can read in between the lines? What new thing is Osahene bringing to NDC? Should he be taken serious at all? Will or should the good people of Jaman south vote for him to lead them as their legislator? I n the unlikely event that he wins, will Osahene be able and willing to meet with party founder if the need arises? Personally, I think all these and more should be carefully thought over before the good people of Jaman south cast their vote on that fateful day. END OF PART 1..
