JJ To Defect? Bature Is Probably On Drugs Or Simply Mad - FONKAR

Our elders say there is definitely a cause for any mad mans insanity. The madness, they say, didnt just happen at onceBefore a mad person goes stark naked, there is a force behind his act and Alhaji Bature is behaving in like manner ...look at the dimension the issue has taken, when a mad man lifts a stick to hit you, he will be throwing his hands wherever he goes toSo I am appealing to all journalists and reputable radio stations like Hello FM, not to feed on this diabolical story. The above was the response from political pressure group, Friends of Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings (FONKAR) to a publication in the Al-Hajj newspaper on Tuesday, September 27th, that former President Rawlings is planning to politically make a 360 degrees about-turn and join the NPP in what promises to be the mother of all defections in the annals of the countrys politics. According to the newspaper, its claim is premised on the fact that the former President for some time now has not been contributing to issues of the party (NDC) as the founder due to the treatment meted out to him and his family at the partys National Delegates Congress held in Sunyani, a couple of months ago. A portion of the publication reads: What propelled the former President more in his desire to join the opposition NPP is the recent announcement of defection of Major Boakye Gyan, his rival and mortal enemy to the ruling party, the party he has personally labored to father and nurture. Rawlings is reported to have told his very close friends and associates that there is no way he and Boakye Gyan can be in one political party and so he is calling it quits with the NDC. But Operations Director of FONKAR, Ernest Owusu Bempah, who considers the newspaper editor as a discredited individual, believes he is only seeking to grab attention. He admonished the media, especially radio stations who engage the services of the Al-Hajj newspaper editor as a studio discussant to take his submissions with a pinch of salt since he could probably be going insane. When such issues crop up and Alhaji Bature happens to be the source, I plead you do a further check before you call me. I want to give due reverence to your listeners and pardon me for what Im about to sayI am sure that it is either Alhaji Bature is an illicit drug abuser or is simply a mad person, Owusu Bempah said.
