Spies Trail NPP Capos

Intelligence picked up by Daily Guide indicates the National Security and the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) have recruited not less than 45 men to be used for a special operation to silence some leading members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP). Deep-throat sources within the National Security set up said these 45 operatives were recruited from various parts of the country in the first half of this year and have undergone a series of tough physical, mental and psychological training to prepare them for this surveillance on the targeted NPP functionaries. Attempts to speak to National Security Coordinator, Lt. Col. Larry Gbevlo Lartey (rtd) proved unsuccessful since he did not answer his phone. At the moment, Daily Guides sources have it that three national officers of the NPP including its General Secretary, Kwadwo Owusu-Afriyie, National Youth Organizer Anthony Abayifaa Karbo and Sammy Awuku, a Deputy Communications Director of the party, are top on the list of people detailed for surveillance. According to a source, the three have been identified as those causing the most damage to efforts of the NDC, hence the need to silence or disorganize them and that some Chevrolet saloon cars have been specially bought and scheduled to be given to the security operatives for the purposes of trailing the subjects. It was also revealed that the recent attacks on Awuku and Karbo were dress rehearsals by the specially-recruited security operatives in preparation for their main tasks.
