The album Konadu has tracks like Shwe Ahweri, Odo fitaa, Auntie and Konadu. Kwaisey Pee said his favourite on the album is Konadu. I have no special reason why I prefer that song but I just love the name Konadu, more so the lyrics of that particular track is perfect, he said. According to him, although he plans releasing the album next week, some radio stations have started playing it, however he said launching of the album will be in December. In an interview with Showbiz, the highlife musician said he normally releases his album every three years but because of his hungry fans he has decided to make it every two years. Asked about the way forward for highlife music, Kwaisey Pee said hiplife is killing highlife music in Ghana, everybody wants to dance and therefore opt for hiplife music, this I believe is killing highlife music in Ghana, he said. According to him, there should be a way highlife music is promoted just as hiplife. He said highlife music is preferred internationally than hiplife music but it is quite unfortunate low patronage is given to it in Ghana. The highlife musician said he doesnt have to blow his own horn but Ghanaians know his capabilities whenever he drops a new one. He disclosed to Showbiz that he was born into music and therefore doesnt have problems writing his songs. Explaining where he gets his lyrics, Kwaisey Pee said he looks at what is happening around him and compose something beautiful out of it. More so, he added that, the ability to sing is a talent from God so he doesnt have to struggle before coming out with a song. Asked the way forward for him, he disclosed that he has plans to revive highlife music because the patronage is not how it used to be. He said he will tour almost all the ten regions of Ghana with his album come December. Kwaisey Pee has five albums to his credit. His first album was Krokromi, followed by Akono Yaa, Nyaneme, Kumipreko and his current Konadu.
