Michael Jackson's Doctor Faces Four Years In Jail If ...

THE doctor accused of killing Michael Jackson was heard in court today talking about breaking the tragic news to the singer's family. Prosecutors continued playing Dr Conrad Murray's dramatic taped interview with police on the trial's 10th day. Murray told the detectives at the time that Paris Jackson, then just 11-years-old, said: "'Dr. Murray, you said you save a lot of patients, you know, you save people with heart attacks and you couldn't save my dad."' "'I know you tried your best, but I'm really sad. "'I will wake up in the morning, and I won't be able to see my daddy."' LAPD detective Scott Smith who was present during Mr Murray's taped interview is being quizzed in court today. Defence lawyers say Jackson took an overdose himself after Murray left the room on June 25 2009. The doctor denies the charge against him and faces up to four years in jail if convicted. The trial continues.
