Well Use June 4th Style To Remove Asiedu Nketia NDC group

A newly formed NDC group, Organized Youth of Ashanti (OYA), has asked the partys General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, to immediately vacate his post and render an unqualified apology to former President JJ Rawlings for his unsavory remarks made during the homecoming ceremony of Dr Obed Asamoah. The group has threatened to unleash the spirit of June 4 uprising into the NDC until the party finds the correct path to its roots. Asiedu Nketiah, popularly known as General Mosquito, on October 8, 2011 during a ceremony to welcome members of the Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), who were rejoining the NDC is quoted to have said, Now the barking dog whose actions forced you out of the NDC no longer exists, so I would have been surprised if you had continued to stay outside He added that, I see you as principled people who left the NDC due to your abhorrence of abuse, insults, vilification, lies and intemperate language in political discourse. In a statement released on Monday, OYA stated that due to the lack of political reasoning and the high level of incompetence exhibited by Asiedu Nketia, he is not fit to occupy that position, hence the call for his immediate resignation. The group also called for the immediate dismissal of deputy Minister of Information Baba Jamal, who also stated that the issue of President Rawlings residence is not an important matter for government. The call by the group comes days after another NDC group, Youth with Conviction of Principles, gave the Mills-led administration a one-month ultimatum to fix the Ridge residence of the former first family. The group threatened to stage an unending demonstration in the streets of Accra until government accedes to their demands. Meanwhile, OYA has reiterated that until ex-president Rawlings is accorded the much needed respect it would not vote for the NDC in the 2012 general elections. As we continue with this process, OYA wishes to endorse a militancy position which has generally been accepted by the youth and foot soldiers of our party; NO JJ, NO VOTE FOR NDC IN 2012.
