President Mills: My Work Will Exonerate Me

The President of Ghana, Professor John Evans Atta Mills, has noted that ongoing projects and completed ones dotted around the country is a clear indication that his government is working and that will result in victory for him come election 2012. Speaking during the last day of his extended tour of the Greater Accra region on Thursday, Prof. Mills said the performance of his ruling National Democratic Congress in the area of infrastructure development is making it difficult for his critics to critically condemn him. He told a group of NDC sympathisers to be law abiding as the election fever gradually takes over the country, adding that God will see his party through. 2012 is around the corner, the president reminded his supporters. We want to have a peaceful and transparent election. I have no doubt that with the work we have done and will be doing the people of Ghana will choose us. Let us not take anything for granted. It is for us to work and work hard. Now people are beginning to see what we have done. Those who said we have done nothing are now trying to find some other reasons. God is on our side, Prof. Mills stated.
