Four years after the death of gospel music icon Bishop Michael Osei Bonsu, dust is yet to settle over who or what killed him. This controversy was given a dramatic twist last week when award-winning gospel musician, Christiana Love, revealed that her husband, Pastor Love Hammond, had been involved in his �murder� and that she was tired of protecting him from his criminal activities. The fresh allegation from Christiana Love was significant because Pastor Love had already been accused of causing the death of Bishop Osei Bonsu. Therefore, for his wife to have publicly accused him of murder deepened the controversy on whether Pastor Love really murdered the late bishop. NEWS-ONE, on Tuesday, asked Pastor Love what he thought of the comment from his wife: �No one commits murder in this country and walks a free man. With what did I kill him? I did not kill him and only God can tell what my wife meant by what she said. You can check from the hospital he died, it was the Ridge Hospital I hear and my information is that he died of brain tumor. And you may also check from his relations. �When he died, people said all sorts of things but my wife knows that I am not that type of pastor. Since I married her, ask her if I had ever sent her to any shrine or brought home anything relating to juju or black magic so I do not know why she said that. It is only God that can bear me witness,� Pastor Love explained. Pastor Love and Bishop Osei Bonsu were not the best of friends when the latter died. The two were feuding over a financial disagreement and Pastor Love was alleged to have verbally threatened to kill Osei Bonsu. Love has however denied that allegation and insisted that even if he said so, his verbal threats could not have carried enough potency to end the life of Bishop Osei-Bonsu, who had 70 gospel albums to his credit. NEWS-ONE asked Pastor Love why his wife, who has three sons with him, would make such an allegation. �She has said worse things and I am very shocked. She has called me a rapist, a thief and many more. But if I was that bad, how come she stayed with me for almost ten years and never complained about all these things she is saying now? �When I was about to marry her, God told me she is a good woman but I should brace myself for the confusion ahead. You may ask her if I did not tell her there would be confusion ahead. I told her but I did not expect that the confusion would be this great,� Love added. He gave NEWS-ONE very alarming revelations about his 10-year marriage with Christiana Love and the story would be carried uncensored and unedited in Friday�s edition.
