Why NDC Must Respect The Rawlingses

Ladies and gentlemen from the great Akatamanso family, it pricks my heart with a lot of regret, when I listen to the political blunder our party is committing. To be frank, I cannot understand why the NDC, a party that was once united has today become the most sharply divided one. I am making these statements with the ultimate conviction that, if we can reasoned as a family and won an election from a desperate political party like the New Patriotic Party, then we must know today that we are really treading on a dangerous grounds. First and foremost, I cannot comprehend why some people in the party thought they can satisfy their stomach through the use of imperialist tactics of divide and conquer. The recent frivolous and disrespectful comments that are flying on the political air waves, coming from some members of the national executive in the party cannot and can never succeed in our quest to winning the 2012 elections. What boarders my mind most is, those individual political opportunist who continuously made statements to denigrate the reputation of the founder of the party, just to win the favor of the president must be prepared to face likewise should the table turn otherwise. I cannot just imagine why a matured politician will want to compromise his reputation to the detriment of the general good of the party I must state unequivocally that I am completely disappointed in the conduct and comments made by the General Secretary and some other executive members of the party which have the tendency of widening the political gap between the leader of the party and the founder. I am sure Mr. Aseidu Nketia, has not had the opportunity of representing the party in any of the rural polling stations where many of the people even today will demand to vote for the white man on the ballot. The continuous backlashes of the former president whose legacy the current government has succeeded is a dangerous antecedent and it is just a means of loosing political power easily to the NPP unless we are not wearing our political spectacles well. Anyone who think he or she can convince Ghanaians to vote for the NDC in 2012 without president Rawlings must re-consider his thoughts well because this arrogant of personality clashes which has bedeviled the party and which many people have used to enrich themselves cannot stand the test of time. It is even more shocking that after eight years of sacrifice and political vindictiveness the NPP shown the founder of our party, no single day passes without a single party communicator or executive making one derogatory comments or the other about the man who have founded a party and whose effort have brought the prevailing comfort we are all enjoying today. The national executive council(NEC) and the council of elders must as a matter of urgency, commence a re-unification process to bring the leader of the party and the founder of the party together just as many more party members are demanding before we are taken by surprise by the opposition NPP in 2012 elections. I will end this advice with the recommendation to all party members to try and watch the African movie (Nigerian movie) entitled the heat of the moment and we will know the full implication of what we are doing to ourselves. A word they say is enough for the wise. GOD BLESS OUR GREAT PARTY NDC AND SAVE US FROM THIS PERSONALITY CLASHES.
