Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu has jumped to the defence of under-fire defender Awal Mohammed for conceding a late penalty which denied them all three points against Berekum Arsenals.
The former Feyenoord trainee pulled down an Arsenal striker in the dying embers of the game to giveaway a late penalty which the home side converted to nick a point in the weekend�s Premier League meeting at the Golden City Park.
The stalwart centre defender has been heavily criticized for the error which cost the Porcupine Warriors maximum points but the ex-All Stars boss insists fans should leave the player alone.
