The prosecution said when the girl went to Atuobi, a quack doctor in the area which is a farming community, he sent her into his room where he used some instrument to siphon the blood from her womb through her private part, after which he gave the victim some drugs and dispatched her. Chief Inspector Anaman said the girl developed some complication three days later and was sent to the accused person who again applied the same method to her and despatched her. The prosecution said on Nov. 2, this year the complication worsened and the girl was rushed to the accused for the third time during which he gave her some tablets. Chief Inspector Anaman said the girls mother, Madam Akuah Afriyie who had returned from a journey on Nov. 9, became worried about the condition of her daughter and when questioned she narrated her ordeal. Madam Afriyie reported the matter to the Mpataba Police and the accused was arrested.
