Woman Chews Farmer's Scrotum

The Bekwai Circuit Court on Tuesday remanded a thirty one year old unemployed woman in prison custody for allegedly biting off the scrotum of a forty-five year old farmer, Kwadwo Owusu at Ofoase Kokoben in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region and rendering him impotent. The accused Kwadwo Owusu encountered the horrific attack from after acting the Good Samaritan by stopping what would have resulted into a bloody fisticuff between the culprit, Akua Serwaah Bonsu and some other women who attended a funeral at the Ofoase Kokoben. Narrating the unfortunate incident at the Bekwai Court, the Prosecutor, Detective Sergeant Stephen Ofori enumerated that he crime was committed just last Saturday 12th November 2011 after both the accused and the victim has returned from the same funeral around 5pm in the late afternoon. He said, the victim, Kwadwo Owusu managed to stop a possible fight which would have happened between the accused and some other women who also came to the funeral that day. He told the court that the victim was heading to a particular place in the town but passed in front of the house of Akua Serwaah who after seeing him came out and attacked him. The accused reached for the balls of Kwadwo Owusu after she pounced on him and succeeded in biting off the scrotum of the farmer although he was wearing a pair of jean trousers, he alleged. Kwadwo Owusu who was helpless was screaming for help but by the time people could come to release him Akua Serwaah Bonsu has bitten off his scrotum with her sharp teeth and chewing off one of the accuses testicles. He said the accused is currently receiving treatment at the Bekwai Government Hospital where doctors have disclosed that he need to undergo a surgery in order to remove the other testicle still hanging. Meanwhile the court has adjourned the case till the 29th of November, 2011 for the continuation. It should be noted that Kwadwo Owusu who has suffered this ordeal after standing for peace will forever remain impotent all his lifetime.
