My Lover Is Not A Small Boy - Actress Beverly Afaglo

It is difficult to know exactly who started the gossip or when people started talking about it, but rumours are rife that actress Beverly Afaglo is way older than her lover boy, sensational hip life artiste Eugene Baah of Praye fame. In Ghana, ladies who date younger men are stigmatized as they are generally perceived to be desperate for love and this may explain why Beverly has received tons of condemnation, especially on the internet, since rumours started circulating that she is a sugar mummy to the young musician. The rumours, with its accompanying condemnation, have reached Beverley and she is furious about it because according to her, she was not older than Praye. The actress told News-One that she would not hesitate to reveal her age, as well as Prayes so as to put the matter to rest once and for all. She said the fact that Praye seemed shorter than her did not mean he was the younger one. Beverly seemed so pissed off over the matter that before speaking to News-One, she was on eTV Ghanas Late Night Celebrity Show hosted by Deborah Vanessa Owusu to pour her heart out: When I go on the internet, I see people who comment and say Eugene is younger than me. If he is younger than me, I want to use this platform to say I think it is not wrong to date someone young. But the truth is that he is not. Eugene is not a little boy. He is 29 years old I have never said on any platform that I am 24 years. I dont lie about my age. I am 28 and Eugene is 29 years. He is a year older than me. So I dont want people saying he is younger than me because he looks young and probably looks short and I am tall and look a bit older. Beverly added: "it is my choice to date a younger guy if I really want to. I dont know why people are going on that you have to date an older guy. If you want to date an older guy, it is your choice. Eugene is my age mate and I am fine with that. So please stop bombarding me on the internet. If I am older than him, It is my choice to date a young guy."
