Friday 2nd December, 2011, which marks Farmers Day, has been declared a Statutory Public Holiday.
This was in a statement from the Ministry of the Interior, signed by the sector Minister, Dr Benjamin Kumbour in Accra.
The general public is hereby reminded that the day should be observed as such throughout the country.
