MOYS Wishes Agbeko Well

The Minister for Youth and Sports Hon Clement Kofi Humado on behalf of President JEA Mills, the government, the good people of Ghana and on his own behalf, has expressed best wishes to Joseph King Kong Agbeko ahead of his re-match with IBF Bantamweight champion Abner Mares in California tomorrow, a release signed by Michael Frimpong assistant PRO, has said. The Minister urged Agbeko not to be weighed down by the controversial decision that went against him in the first fight last August but rather put up a determined fight to put smiles back on the faces of Ghanaian by bringing the title to Ghana. This is the moment of truth for Agbeko because the first fight has been a source of heated debates ever since that controversial victory was awarded to Mares over him. I know Joseph will seize this opportunity to carry his own referee into the ring by knocking out Mares in order to prove to the whole world that indeed he is a true champion of the Bantamweight division, the release added. The Minister also took the opportunity to urge the handlers of Agbeko to ensure that he is well conditioned and prepared physically, mentally and psychologically for the fight since he cannot afford to disappoint Ghanaians.
