Mr. Dan Botwe, the Member of Parliament for Okere, has called on President John Evans Atta Mills, as a matter of urgency, to speak clearly and succinctly on the huge amount of money that has been doled out to businessman Alfred Woyome as judgment debt.
Mr. Botwe has stated that the very strange conditions surrounding the payment require that the President comes out to state clearly that he authorized that payment.
Speaking in an interview with this newspaper yesterday, Mr. Dan Botwe stated that it was not possible for any Attorney General, on her own, to negotiate and authorize that payment of such a huge amount of money without the clear and express permission of the President.
