THE Accra Representative of Berekum Chelsea Nana Oduro Sarfo was allegedly turned into a punching bag when the defending champions lost 0-1 to Kotoko at the Baba Yara stadium recently.
Recounting his ordeal, Oduro Sarfo said Kotoko�s Management Member, Ben Nti ordered machomen to physically attack him during the game.
He said during half-time of game he was at the VIP section with other Kotoko supporters debating about the encounter, when all of a sudden Ben Nti appeared on the scene and ordered him to leave the stadium.
Oduro Sarfo said he did not pay heed to Ben Nti�s order and continued debating with the Kotoko fans while waiting for the second half to begin. He said minutes after Ben Nti had left the scene; he resurfaced again in the company of four strong men.
Mr. Nti, he said, this time around, ordered the machomen to beat him and take him out of the stadium. Oduro Sarfo said the machomen beat him in the presence of several people and that it was Kotoko�s Lawyer Boafo and a few other supporters that came to his rescue.
He said he was taken out of the stadium at the instance of Mr. Nti so he could not watch the second half of the contest. Oduro Sarfo however stated that he did not intend to retaliate when Kotoko visit Berekum in the second round to face Chelsea.

Meanwhile Kotoko are richer by a staggering 30 million old cedis for silencing defending league champions Berekum Chelsea. Kotoko applied the brakes on high flying Berekum Chelsea who have in their fold an array of stars.
Kotoko Board Member, Jerry Asare promised to give the money to Kotoko if they beat Chelsea. He said the money should be shared among the players and the technical team that helped the club to beat Chelsea.
Mr. Asare�s promise was said to have influenced the Kotoko team to play above themselves to beat stubborn Chelsea at the Baba Yara stadium.
