Volta Youth Demand Apology For Prez Mills From Okudjeto

Leadership of the Volta Regional NDC Youth for Action has criticized Deputy Minister for Information, Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa of sabotaging Alfred Agbesi Woyome in the 58 million Ghana cedis judgment debt saga. The group is unhappy with government communication machinerys silence on the matter despite Mr. Woyomes vilification in the media. What is dangerous is why Okudjeto Ablakwa has refused to use the government information machinery to defend the Presidents stance same as he is doing in this rather war of words with an NGO that has merely expressed its opinion on a certain loan being procured by government. At a news conference on Thursday in Accra, Spokesperson for the Volta Regional NDC Youth for Action, Agbe Mawunyo asked the Deputy Information Minister to publicly apologize to President Mills for not defending his stance on the matter even though opposition elements have used it to soil the Presidents image. We call on Mr. Samuel Okudjeto to offer a public apology to the President for embarrassing him publicly though he claims to be loyal to the President and yet refuse to allow the government communication team to openly defend the stance of the President. Adding that, Why does he not want Woyome who has won a court judgment to be defended publicly? Whose interest is Okudjeto serving, NPP or the President and the NDC, the questioned. Mawunyo said the people of Volta Region were ready to die in defence of Woyome. We the people of the Volta region pledge our unflinching support to defend and stand by Mr. Woyome and we are prepared to defend him with every blood in us.
