Stars draw 1-1 In South Africa Friendly

Ghana drew 1-1 with South Africa at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace in a lively practice game on Sunday. Both goals were produced in the opening 13 minutes with Sulley Muntari's leveller coming five minutes after the hosts had taken the lead through Thami Sangweni. The practice game was the first for Goran Stevanovic's men ahead of the start of the African Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea. Sangweni opened the scoring in the 7th minute when his long range shot beat goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey. Despite the bright start from the Bafana Bafana, it was Ghana who soon took control of the game. And Sulley Muntari's lob from outside the box sailed past Bafana keeper Brilliant Khuzwayo. Ghana, after the equalizer dominated possession but missed numerous chances before the break. Stevanovic made a host of changes in the second half but the scoreline remained unchanged.
